Services

At the Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic, our mission is to provide the best possible care for your pet. Our extensive service offering includes:

Annual Exams and Consultations

Even if your pet exhibits no signs of illness, regular yearly physical examinations by an experienced veterinarian are essential and may uncover potential problems before they affect your pet’s health.

Routine Vaccination and Parasite Testing

Vaccinating your pet against rabies is not only critical to his or her well being--it's also state law. When you schedule your pet for his or her yearly exam, your DAMC veterinarian will review your pet's record and inform you of any vaccinations that are due.

It's also important during your visit to bring a stool sample along with you. Testing the fecal material will let us know if your pet has been exposed to any parasites and, in nearly all cases, we can easily treat the pesky problem with a few doses of medication.

Laboratory Services

Our in-house lab can run bloodwork, fecal, and urine tests with same-day results-- which are especially important for our critical care patients. We also utilize contract and university laboratories when more comprehensive bloodwork or pathology tests are indicated.

Acupuncture

Performed by a veterinarian certified in acupuncture, this ancient art of Chinese healing can reduce pain and facilitate healing and health.

Senior Health Screening

Better nutrition and advances in treatments have allowed pets to live longer, healthier lives. We take a particular interest in helping pet owners recognize and address senior issues.

Full Pharmacy

DAMC maintains a full pharmacy to provide our clients with a convenient and cost effective means to acquire their pets' medications. Once prescribed, medications stocked in our in-house pharmacy are also available for our clients to order via our online pharmacy at no extra charge.

Nutrition Counseling

DAMC offers a wide range of veterinary diets to help manage numerous medical conditions such as diabetes, allergies, weight loss, kidney disease, and more. Once your pet has been properly diagnosed and we recommend one of these diets, you can easily purchase your pet's medical diet through our online pharmacy and pick up your order in our office.

X-ray, Ultrasound, EKG, Blood pressure Monitoring

When additional diagnostics are needed to thoroughly assess your pet’s medical condition. DAMC offers state-of-the-art digital x-ray technology, EKG monitoring, blood pressure screening, and ultrasound (including cardiac) services.

Surgery

From routine spay and neuter procedures to complicated arthroscopic, reproductive, and organ removal surgeries, our highly trained DAMC vet staff will help mend your pet with expert care.

Dentistry

One of the keys to keeping your pet healthy is keeping up with the health of their teeth and gums. To help facilitate this, DAMC offers dental cleaning and extraction services. Appointments can be scheduled any weekday with one of our DAMC vets. You can drop your pet off in the morning and by the afternoon, they'll have a set of shiny, new teeth!

Home Again (r) ID Microchips

Providing permanent identification for your pet in the event they become lost, Home Again(r) microchips are the size of a grain of rice and are easily injected under the skin during a routine office visit to DAMC.

For more information about the microchip, click to visit the Home Again web site.
